It seems as though this is the appropriate card for this time of year. Here at the Roy house we have all been sick the past week, so this is very fitting for us.
You just have to love this guy! He's made from the Pick a Petal stamp set (page 115 of the catalog). Click here to view the stamp set in the SU! online catalog. I wish I could say he was my creation, but he isn't. I saw him on someone elses blog and unfortunately I don't remember who or I would share the link with you.
I used this card at a workshop this weekend and we had the best time making this guy. One lady at the workshop ended up giving her guy a black eye! She accidentally inked up the Basic Black instead of the Soft Sky for one eye! I told her to flip the paper over and restamp, but she really liked him with the black eye and wanted to keep him. She came up with a great saying to put on the inside of the card, but I can not remember it now.
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Pick a Petal, Sincere Salutations, (pencil eraser used for the black dots for eyes)
Ink: Basic Black, Cameo Coral, Soft Sky
Paper: Blue Bayou, Cameo Coral, Whisper White

This is another card I made for the Stamp-a-Stack a few weeks ago. I used a 6" x 6" piece of Real Red card stock and scored it at 6.5" that way I would have room for the white scallop card stock on the bottom of the front.

Check out this necklace I made yesterday. Can you believe the lighter color beads are actually made from strips of Bali Breeze Designer Series paper? Yes they are!!!! I can't believe it was so easy to make. The hardest part is finding the rights beads to go with the paper because there are so many at the craft store! And then laying out the beads and getting a design that you like. I didn't have the paper with me when I bought the beads, but I knew which piece of paper I wanted to use and hoped that I was picking the right color beads out. I think I did a pretty good job. Now I want to make lots more, which means now I have to buy more beads. It has snowed here in Maine the last 2 nights into morning and they are predicting more snow tonight into the morning. So I won't be going to the craft store any time soon, which is probably a good thing for my wallet!
